East Beach is the most popular beach at Bognor Regis. It features a sloping shingle bank with wooden breakwaters positioned lower down and a sandy beach at low tide. While the beach is mainly shingle at the top of the beach, large stretches of sand are exposed at low tide. East beach has shops and food and drink nearby.
During the summer season, lifeguards are on duty at the beach, ensuring safety for swimmers and other beachgoers.
